Community Guidelines

What we expect

• Show up for cars. Talk shop. Share builds. Help each other find a fair bengkel. Photo of your car at the meet, not a face-pic of the kid next door.
• Be the friend at the meet. Welcome new people. JDM, Euro, modded Proton, daily Myvi — every entry-drug car belongs here.
• Keep it road-legal in conversation. Don’t post arrangements for street racing, dangerous illegal mods, or anything that breaks JPJ rules. Track day = encouraged. Sepang B-roads at sensible speed = open. Federal highway at 200 km/h = no.

What gets you removed

• Harassment, threats, or hate speech of any kind — based on race, religion, gender, orientation, nationality, or anything else
• Pretending to be someone you're not (impersonation, fake profiles)
• Spam, scams, multi-level marketing, or commercial pitches not relevant to the scene
• Sexual content, nudity, or anything inappropriate for under-18 readers
• Posting another person's personal info (phone, address, IC) without their permission
• Posting recognizable faces or licence plates of people who haven't consented
• Coordinated harassment of another user (rallying friends to pile on)
• Buying, selling, or trading anything illegal — including stolen parts, non-homologated tunes that pose a real safety risk, or controlled substances

How to handle a bad actor

Two options, both work fast:

• Block them.Long-press their message or photo → tap Block. You won’t see their chats or photos in events you’re both in. They aren’t notified. Manage your block list under Settings → Blocked users.
• Report them. Long-press the offending message or photo → tap Report. Add a quick reason. Support reviews every report within 24 hours.

How we respond to reports

Real reports get a real look from a human. Severe violations (harassment, threats, fraud, anything that puts someone in immediate danger) get the user removed from the app. Minor infractions get a warning. Habitual offenders get banned.

If you’ve been wrongly removed, email support@gostreetauto.comwith your account email and we’ll review within 48 hours.

Public safety + emergencies

If you see content that suggests immediate risk of harm to yourself or another person, contact local authorities first (999 in Malaysia). After they’re contacted, email us at support@gostreetauto.com with what you saw so we can act on the user’s account.
